Obituary

Methuen, MA – Raymond J. Frederick, 84, died suddenly while vacationing in Florida.
Mr. Frederick was born in Lawrence the son of Lucien and Emma (Gauthier) Frederick.
For 36 years Ray had been employed as Foreman for Eastern Garage Doors in Lawrence prior to his retirement.
During World War II he served his country in the United States Navy as a class A diver who received a commendation for going above and beyond military duties by saving another sailor’s life on July 8, 1944.

Raymond was a communicant of Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish in Methuen.
Ray’s family was his life and when they were together Ray considered that to be his quality time.
Ray is survived by his wife of 64 years; Annette B. (Prevost) Frederick.
He is also survived by 3 daughters; Mrs. Gloria D. and her husband Barry P. Domin of Amesbury, Mrs. Linda A. and her husband Leon Bonneau of Methuen, and Deborah A. Myers of Methuen, and one son Raymond P. and his wife Donna Frederick of Derry, NH. Survivors also include 13 grandchildren, 12 greatgrandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place on Saturday morning at 9 o’clock in Our Lady of Good Counsel Parish/ Saint Theresa’s Church 22 Plymouth Street in Methuen with burial to follow in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery.
Friends may call on Friday from 4-9 P.M. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home 233 Lawrence Street in Methuen.
