Thomas S. “Tommy” King, 63, of Fitzgerald, Georgia died Tuesday, December 2, 2008 at Dorminy Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 11 A.M., Friday, December 5 at the Paulk Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dewain Joiner officiating. Visitation will be held one hour before the service at the funeral home.
Mr. King was born April 13, 1945 in Fitzgerald to the late Carroll and Libby Posey King. He lived in the community for the past four years from Blairsville and was a former resident of Albany. Mr. King was a former truck driver for the Fitzgerald Cotton Mill, Watkins Products and Cat Power both in Albany. He was a member of the Church Of God faith.
He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Mary King of Fitzgerald; son & daughter-in-law, Ashley & Linda King of Doerun; 5 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; brother & sister-in-law, Bobby & Kathy King of Tennessee; sister, Catherine King of Eastman; half brothers, Jamie McCann of New York, NY and Andy McCann of Sylvester.
