John ‘’Brian’’ Drehle, 45 of Dracut, formerly of Woburn, died Monday at home after a long battle with cancer. Born in Woburn, he was the son of Richard J. Corrigan of Tewksbury and the late Jewell Drehle and Rita (Peterson) Corrigan who just recently passed away.
Brian as he was known all his life, attended St Charles School, he then moved to Tewksbury to attend Tewksbury High School. While in school he was lead drummer for the Citations Drum and Bugle Corp out of Burlington for many years.
Recently he was a delivery driver in the food industry, but most of his life he was associated with the automotive industry. He loved collecting jewelry, wood working and traveling.
He is survived by his beloved wife Donna M. (Acierno), two loving daughters, Amanda and Ashley Drehle, both of Dracut. Loving son of Richard J. Corrigan of Tewksbury and the late Jewell Dean Drehle and Rita M. Corrigan. Brother of Richard J. Corrigan Jr. of Tewksbury. Grandson of the late John and Laverna Drehle.
Loving nephew of John and Mary Peterson of Woburn, Joseph and Marylyn Peterson of Burlington, Jim and Rose Scanlon, John and Billie Drehle, Jim and Shirley Kloppel, Larry and Betty Drehle, Eugene and Pauline Drehle, and Virgil and Charlene Gieselman all of MO. Son in law of the late Vincent Acierno, and childhood friend of Frank Piazza Jr. of Woburn. Also survived by many cousins in Woburn and Missouri.
Funeral from the McLaughlin - Dello Russo Funeral Home,60 Pleasant St., Woburn, Friday at 9AM. Followed by a funeral mass celebrated at St. Charles Church, 280 Main St. Woburn at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Visiting hours Thursday 4 thru 8 PM. Services will conclude with burial at Calvary Cemetery, Woburn.
