Obituary

Doris A. (Descheneau) Forcier, 88, of Pinardville, died November 29, 2008, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s .
She was born, November 4, 1920, in Manchester, and was the daughter of Wilfrid and Virgnie (Gregoire) Descheneau. She had been a communicant of the former St. Edmond Parish where she served as a Eucharistic minister, as well as on the bereavement and liturgical committees.
For many years Doris was employed at the Prevue Products and Bee Bee Shoe factory. She also worked in the kitchen of the Isolation Hospital for the Manchester Board of Health.
She was an active member of the Catholic War Veterans participating in the girls marching unit. She enjoyed playing cards, watching night television, and entertaining family and friends.
She was predeceased by her husband Leon Forcier, who died in 1981.
Family members include 3 daughters, Terry Huot, and her husband, Jim of Weare, LuAnn Miville, and her husband, Mark of Manchester, Gail Tower, and her husband, Bruce, of Windham, ME; a son, Lee Forcier, and his wife Cheryl, of Goffstown; 5 grandchildren, Stacey, Brian, Jennifer, Carey and Kelly; a sister, Pauline (Loiselle) Demers, of Bedford; a brother, George Descheneau, of Hooksett; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated Thursday December 4, 2008 at The Parish of the Transfiguration, Kelley St. Manchester
Burial took place at Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Goffstown Rd. Manchester.
