Eva Frances (Keating) Jackson, of Medford, formerly of Somerville, passed away at her home in Medford on Saturday, November 29, 2008. She was 89 years old.
Born in Canada, she was the beloved daughter of the late Edmond H. and Lillie (Best) Keating.
She was the loving mother of Phyllis and her husband Gerald Hart of Boca Raton, FL, Larry and his wife Elizabeth Jackson of Homestead, FL, Linda and her husband Richard Hildebrand of New Gloucester, ME and David Jackson of Boston, cherished grandmother of William and his wife Kimberly Hildebrand of Ipswich and April Hildebrand of Malden and dear great-grandmother of Abigail and Harrison Hildebrand of Ipswich. Eva was one of 12 children born to the late Edmund & Lillie (Best) Keating of the Magdalen Islands, Canada. Her funeral service was celebrated in the Grace Episcopal Church, 160 High Street, Medford, Thursday, at 10 AM. Many relatives and friends respectfully attended. Visiting hours were held in the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home, 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Wednesday from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9 PM. Interment was in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
