TEWKSBURY: Frank G. Eaton, age 78, a Tewksbury resident for over 30 years, passed away on Thursday, November 27, 2008 at Saints Medical Center in Lowell.
He was the devoted husband of Dorothy (Phillips) Eaton, a resident of the Blaire House Assisted Living Community of Tewksbury.
Born in Lynn, MA on June 9, 1930, he was the son of the late William H. and the late Veronica (Mathewson) Eaton.
Frank was raised in Lynn and attended Lynn schools.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.
Prior to his retirement, he was employed by the Poly Vinyl Manufacturing Company of Wilmington for many years.
According to his wife, he was a good provider and a loving husband. In addition, he enjoyed fishing, boating, gardening and taking trips to New Hampshire and Vermont.
In addition to his wife, Dorothy, survivors include one son, Frank G. Eaton, Jr. of New Hampshire; four sisters, Helene Lopez and her husband Jim of Merritt Island, FL, Judith Polk of Kissimmee, FL, Patricia Greeley of Merritt Island, FL and Veronica Abbott and her husband John of Wakefield, NH; also many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Mr. Eaton was the brother of the late Roberta Salerno.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 3rd, at 11 a.m., at the Tewksbury Cemetery, 172 East St., Tewksbury. At the request of the family there are NO Calling Hours.
