Elaine T. Flynn, 77, passed away at the Lawrence Memorial Hospital in Medford on November 26th, 2008. She was born in Somerville on January 23rd, 1931 to her parents Thomas F. and Mary M. (Davis) Tesson. Elaine was raised and educated in Medford, graduating from Medford High School in 1948. For the past 45 years, Malden has been her home. She worked as a Payroll Clerk for the Massachusetts Water Resource Authority in Charlestown, retiring after 20 years of service. Elaine was also a homemaker who was very family oriented. She was gracious to all who knew her. She is survived by her children, Mary M. Flynn of Malden, Michael F. Flynn and his wife Angela of Malden and Judith A. Miskinis and her husband Albert of South Boston; by her grandchildren, Christopher, Shannon, Albie and Andrew; and by her great granddaughter Alexis. Along with her parents, Elaine was predeceased by her husband Eugene L. “Gene” Flynn and by her brother Thomas Tesson. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Monday December 1st at 8 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, 600 Pleasant St., Malden at 9 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Sunday November 30th from 3-7 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1905.
