Marie P. (Berthiaume) Nelson, 54, of 15 Longview Dr., died Thursday, Nov. 27 at her home after a long illness.
She leaves her husband of 30 years, Richard G. "Rick" Nelson, two sons Richard C. Nelson and his fiance Heather of Spencer and Jonathan M. Nelson and his wife Christie of Plymouth, a daughter Krystle M. Brodeur and her husband Corey of Spencer, her mother Anna Mae (Farrell) Berthiaume of Spencer, a brother David L. Berthiaume of Spencer, two sisters Donna L. Arsenault of Spencer and Margaret Daoust and her husband Emile of Leicester, several nieces and nephews.
Marie was a hostess for 33 years at "Rookies Family Restaurant" in So.Wellfleet.
She was born in Worcester the daughter of the late Leo C. Berthiaume.
She graduated from David Prouty High School Class of 1972. Marie was happiest when spending time with her family and close friends.
The family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to Jewish Home Hospice and Ann Jette for the exceptional care given Marie during her final days at home.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, Dec. 1st. at 11a.m. in the J.HENRI MORIN & SON FUNERAL HOME, 23 Maple Terr., Spencer. Calling hours are Sunday, Nov. 30 from 1 to 4p.m. Burial will be at a later date in Mary,Queen of the Rosary Cemetery, Spencer.
