In Taunton, November 26, 2008 Gary S. died after a brief illness at the age of 40. He was the son of John & Louise (Berthelette) Field. Gary was born & educated in Taunton. He was employed as a landscaper in the family business. Gary was an avid sports fan and liked auto racing. Besides his parents, Gary leaves his siblings Anne Aponte & her husband Albert of Taunton, John Field and his wife Debra of Taunton, Jeffrey Field & his wife Lisa of Templeton, Ma. and Thad Field of Taunton. His neices and nephews Ashley Aponte, Erin, Sean, Brittney and Brian Field. He also leaves many Aunts & Uncles. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Andrew the Apostle Church the former St. Paul’s Church on Saturday, Nov. 29th at 11am. Interment in the family lot in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Gary’s memory to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN. 38105
