Florence Pultz MacGregor, 90, of 4 Thomas Street, Mystic, widow of Robert E. MacGregor, passed away suddenly on Monday, April 28, 2003, while visiting in Dallas, Texas.
Born in Lebanon, CT on August 30, 1912, to Mr. and Mrs. Monroe Pultz, she attended local schools and graduated from the Joseph Lawrence Hospital School of Nursing in 1936 as a registered nurse.
She worked for over 50 years in nursing.
She was a member of the DAR, Anna Warner Bailey Chapter, Alumni Association of the J.L. School of Nursing, and Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by 3 daughters, Faye Southern of Memphis, Tennessee, Bette Collins of Alexandria, Virginia, and Joan Thorp of Dallas, Texas, seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law and two nieces.
The family will greet relatives and friends on Friday from 5 – 7pm at the Dinoto Funeral Home, 17 Pearl Street, historic downtown Mystic. A graveside service will be held on Saturday at 10am at Elm Grove Cemetery, Mystic.
