Obituary


Kramer, Michael J., age 63, of Bradford, MA, formerly of Hopewell Junction, NY, died peacefully at the Bedford VA Medical Center on Monday, November 24, 2008. He was the proud father of Michael A. Kramer of Bradford, MA and Michelle L. (Kramer) Lodding of Goodyear, Az. Born in Long Beach, NY to Eugene (deceased.) and Lucy Kramer but resided for most of his life in Peekskill and Pine Plains, NY.

After graduating from Peekskill High School in 1963 he enlisted with the U.S. Navy and served during the Vietnam War on the USS Hermitage as a radio operator. "Ham radios" (call sign WA2HZM) were his main hobby and was a freelance photographer, spending his spare time travelling & taking beautiful pictures that his family will cherish. Mr. Kramer was an oil burner mechanic who took pride in his work, most recently working for Burke Heat of Hawthorne, NY from where he retired in 2007.
Apart from his mother, he is survived by his son Michael and his wife Jeanne, their three children, Daniel, Jessica and Jordan and his daughter Michelle and her husband Scott M. Lodding as well as his former wife Ruthanne, a brother John Kramer of Scottsdale, AZ and a sister Patricia Stewart of Arizona.

Arrangements: Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the memorial service on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at Sacred Hearts Church in the chapel in Bradford, MA beginning at 10:00 a.m.
A reception will follow.
