Lorraine T. (Moen) Mills 75, of 55 Hollywood St. died Sunday (April 27) in St. Vincent Hospital at Worcester Medical Center after an illness.
She leaves her husband of 56 years, Francis E. Mills, three sons, James F. Mills and Steven P. Mills both of Worcester and Dennis W. Mills of Leicester, four daughters, M. Diane Clark of Whitinsville, Susan Beebe-Kuczinski of Cleveland, OH, Patricia A. Higgins of Shrewsbury, and Deborah A. Waterson of Worcester, three sisters, Mae Moen of Escundido, CA, Helen Provencher of Wheelwright, and Barbara Smith of Worcester, 15 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.She was born in Worcester, daughter of Peter F. and Herminie M. (Lavoie) Moen. She attended South High School.
She worked in the Customer Service Department at Big D Supermarket for 25 years, retiring in 1990 previously she worked 20 years at Harr Ford. She was a member of Saint Peter’s Church and was active in Local Politics.
A Funeral will be held Tuesday (April 29) from Fay Brothers Funeral Home 9 Hammond St. (www.faybrothers.com) with a Mass at 10 a.m. in St. Peter’s Church 931 Main St. Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery. Calling Hours are Monday (April 28) from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
