WORCESTER__Adolph J. Kazalaitis, 89, of Worcester passed away peacefully after a short illness, Friday, November 21 in St. Vincent Hospital.
He was born in Worcester, October 10, 1919, the son of Charles and Mary (Jakaitis) Kazalaitis. He leaves his cousins, Daniel J. Jakaitis and his wife, Mary Ann, Julie Turo, Daniel A. Jakaitis and his wife, Debra, Joanne (Jakaitis) Troiano and husband, Mark, Thomas Turo and his wife, Sue, Janice (Turo) and her husband, John and companion Rita Brazauskas.
Adolph was a World War II Veteran serving in the Pacific Theater. He served in the Finance Branch of the US Army Air Corp. Upon the wars end, he worked as an accountant for Curé’s Furniture for many years. He enjoyed travel, that took him to many parts of North America with his parents and companions.
The funeral will be held Tuesday, November 25, from DIRSA-MORIN FUNERAL HOME, 298 Grafton St. with a Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Casimir Church, 41 Providence St. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery. There are no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
