Evelyn F. Morley, 93, of Windham, NH died Friday November 21, 2008 in the Pleasant Valley Nursing Center, Derry, NH. Mrs. Morley was born in Haverhill, MA on December 19, 1914, a daughter of the late John C. and Eva (McConihe) Malvin. She was a lifelong resident of Windham. Mrs. Morley loved children, taking in and caring for many over the years. She enjoyed all types of animals and especially liked to watch the birds. She also enjoyed trips to the beach, gardening, camping and crocheting.
She is survived by her son, Bruce Morley and his wife Diane of Labelle, FL, her daughter-in-law, Mary Morley of Londonderry, four grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and four great great-grandchildren. She also leaves several nieces, nephews and her adopted family. She was predeceased by her husband, Charles Morley, and more recently by her son, John C. Morley, Sr. in December of 2007.
Calling hours were held on Monday November 24, 2008 from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Funeral services were held on Tuesday at 1:00pm in the funeral home. Burial followed in Cemetery on the Hill, Windham.
