Beloved husband of 48 years to Dorothea (Howell) Johnson. Loving father of Paula & husband Paul Shortell of Sudbury and Amy & husband Hubie McDonough of Bedford, NH. "Grandpa J" to Samantha, Carly & Conor. "Papa" to Hayley, Ryan, Luke & Jack. Brother of Doris Johnson of Dorchester.
Bill worked as a lineman/installer for N. E. Telephone for 39 years, retiring in 1985. An avid golfer, he was a longtime member of President's Golf Course in Quincy.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral service in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Saturday at 10:30 AM.
Visiting hours Friday 4-8 PM.
Burial in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Dorchester.
