George William Arnold, 87 of Louisville passed away Sunday, November 16, 2008.
He was retired from the US Postal Service and a Army veteran of World War II.
He was preceded in death by his parents John M. and Anna Mary Arnold.
Married to Berneta (Neta) Arnold (nee Bowen) for 64 years. Also, survived by sons, Melvin (Cathy), Marvin, Douglas (Debby) Arnold; grandchildren, Beverly (James), Gregory (Jackie), Brent (Mary Jo), Amber (Tim), Mel (Sue), Kevin (Megan), Natalia; Nine great grandchildren, Julia, Olivia, Sarah, Grant, Kimberly, Isabella, Heather, Logan, Brayden and many friends.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated at 10 a.m., Thursday, November 20, 2008 at St. Francis Xavier Church, 155 Stringer Lane, Mt. Washington, Ky.
Burial St. Andrew’s Cemtery, 7500 St. Anthony Church Road, Louisville.
Visitation is at Owen Funeral Home – Jeffersontown, 9318 Taylorsville Rd, Tuesday, and Wednesday, both days 2-8 p.m, and after 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, November, 20, 2008.
