LOWELL--Kathleen Mason, 43 years old, died Thursday afternoon at the Lowell General Hospital.
She was born in Boston, on February 27, 1960, a daughter of Catherine (Hawley) Mason, and the late Vernon A. Mason. She was a graduate of the Greater Lowell Regional Vocational School and attended Middlesex Community College.
Miss Mason was a volunteer for the Lowell Public School System, serving at the City Arts Magnet School. She loved her work with the children. She was an artist and loved her art and her animals.
Surviving her besides her mother are a son: Christopher Goodwin, of Lowell; her dear friend: Rick Quintal, of Lowell; a brother and sister-in-law: Kenneth A. and Virginia Mason, of Londonderry, NH; three sisters and two brothers-in-law: Rosemary Deane, of Fort Lauderdale, FL; Gertrude and John Robertson, of Plaistow, NH; and Gail and Dennis Bedrosian, of Newburyport; six nieces and nephews: Michael A. Mason, Cheryl Deane, Christine Deane-Ankney, Carly Bedrosian, Shauna Bedrosian and David Bedrosian.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 PM Friday, April 25th, at the MAHONEY FUNERAL HOME, 187 Nesmith Street, (Rte. 38). Her Funeral Mass to be offered Saturday, April 26th, at 9 AM at ST. JOSEPH’S LITHUANIAN CHURCH, Lowell. Burial in the Wildwood Cemetery, Wilmington. In lieu of flowers, donation in her memory may be made to Children’s Hospital Trust; P.O.
