TEWKSBURY - JoAnn D. (Tuetken) Naun, age 61, died Thursday morning, April 24, at herhome, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Robert E. Cole, and was the former wife ofPaul J. Naun who died in 1981.
She was born in Nokomis, IL, Jan. 18, 1942, a daughter of Martha (Johnson) Tuetken of Illinois,and the late Edward Tuetken. She was raised in Illinois, but had lived the greater part of her lifein Tewksbury.
She was self employed as a Certified Enrolled (Tax) Agent, and had also worked for the U.S.Army in South Boston during the Vietnam War. She earned her business degree from MiddlesexCommunity College, and was a member of the Massachusetts Society of Enrolled Agents.
In her earlier years, she was active in Tewksbury Youth Hockey, and enjoyed motorhome R.V.travel, and sailing. She was also a craftswoman, and enjoyed painting miniature houses.
Besides her husband and mother, she is survived by three sons and two daughters-in-law, Randyand Simona (Sasso) Naun of Tewksbury, Christopher and Carolyn (Morse) Naun of NorthGrafton, and Gregory Naun of Lowell, one brother and sister-in- law Lamar and Brenda Tuetkenof IL, and two grandchildren, Jessica Naun and Derek Naun.
Her funeral service was held Monday, April 28, in the funeral home. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
