Patricia A. (Santos) Ferreira, 61, of Rochester died November 13, 2008 at Boston University Medical Center after a long illness.
She was the wife of Antonio H. "Tony" Ferreira.
Born in Wareham, the daughter of Anna (Fernandes) Anastacio of New Bedford and Clarence Santos of Worcester, she lived in New Bedford most of her life before moving to Rochester in 1976.
Mrs. Ferreira was a member of the International Church of the Nazarene.
She was employed as a receptionist at P.A.C.E. for over 20 years.
Mrs. Ferreira was a graduate of New Bedford High School.
Survivors include her husband; her parents; her children, Melanie Adams and her husband James of Fairhaven and Jeremy Ferreira of Rochester; 6 brothers and sisters, Margaret "Peggy" Gilmette and Carol Lomba and her husband Arthur, all of New Bedford, Joseph Santos, Jeannie "Mimsie" Wilson and her husband Glen and Linda Ward and her husband Eugene, all of Worcester, David Santos of Canada; 7 grandchildren, Marquise, Makayla, Kendal, Arianna, Jalen, Jayce and Nevaeh; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Her Funeral Service will be held on Monday, November 17th at 10 AM at the International Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery. Visiting hours Sunday, November 16th from 4-8 PM at the Saunders-Dwyer Home for Funerals, 495 Park St., New Bedford.
