Formerly of Taunton - Anna Maria Fleming of Pawtucket, RI, died on Tuesday, Nov. 11, 2008 at the St. Antoines Nursing Home in N. Smithfield, RI. She was 57.
Born in Manhattan, NY, she was the daughter of the late Warren S. and Lorraine (De Lorenza) Fleming.
A longtime Taunton resident, she moved to Pawtucket 3 years ago.
A 1969 graduate of Lafayette High School in Brooklyn, NY, she later attended Cape Cod Community College for 2 years.
She worked as a pre-school teacher for the Head Start program in Taunton, and later for Cape Cod Child Development in Yarmouth.
Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, Alisyn Parker and Jillian Pacheco.
She also leaves 2 sons, Wayne R. Bernard of Toronto Canada and Jason M. Sylvia of Taunton; and a daughter, Bonnie A. Pacheco and her husband Kevin of Pawtucket.
She was also the sister of the late Michael Flemming.
Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway on Saturday, Nov. 15th at 8 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Mary’s Church at 9 a.m. Burial will be at Mayflower Hill Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
