Vecchia, Eugene F. of Revere on Nov. 11. Beloved husband of fifty-seven years to Marie (Del Vecchio) Vecchia. Loving father of Eugene Jr. and his wife Tracy. Devoted grandfather of Nicholas and Derek. Dear brother of Frank of Revere and Edward of East Boston. Born and raised in Beachmont, he graduated from Revere High School in 1943. He was a veteran of WWII and Korea. After returning from the war he went on to graduate from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 1949 with a degree in electrical engineering. In his early career he worked as an engineer and then went on to open his own electronics business in the late 1960’s. He was the owner and President of Cable Systems Inc. located in Everett for over thirty years. Funeral services will be private.
