Rose M. (Oricchio) Fulchino, of Medford, died Monday after a brief illness, at Life Care Center, Stoneham. She was 85.
Mrs. Fulchino was born and raised in East Boston, the daughter of the late Enrico and Pasqualina (Pignatoro) Oricchio. A Medford resident for over 50 years, Rose was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed the company of family and friends. She worked for several years in the food service department at Bentley College.
She was the beloved wife of Tino Fulchino with whom she shared 64 years of marriage. She was a devoted mother to Sandra Galluzzo and her husband Peter of Arlington. She was a loving grandmother to Peter Galluzzo and his wife Theresa of Medford and Diana Galluzzo of Winchester. She was a dear sister of Angie Centorino of Bedford, Gina Calie of Winthrop, Geraldine Caputo of Fla, the late Matilda “Millie” Pascucci, Domenic “Sibby” Oricchio, Michael Oricchio, Nicholas Oricchio and Henrietta ”Netta” Flammini. Rose also leaves many nieces and nephews.
Her funeral will be from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford, Friday at 9 AM followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit Thursday 4 - 8. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
