Dartmouth-Anuciacao Frade aged 98 years died November 9th at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved widow of Antonio Frade who passed away November 9th 1978. She was the loved mother of Maria Pacheco and her husband Gilberto of New Bedford, Germana Frade, Ernestina Frade, and Valdemira and her husband Carlos Mota all of Dartmouth. She was the mother of the late Sister Maria Jose Frade and Sister Maria Rosa Frade. Mrs. Frade was the sister of Maria Julia Mendoza of São Miguel Açores. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Frade was the daughter of the late Rosa and Antonio Mauricio. Born in São Miguel, Açores, she has lived in New Bedford since 1968 and worked at Colonial Pajama Factory until her retirement.
Mrs. Frade’s Funeral is from the Perry Funeral Home 111 Dartmouth St. on Thursday at 8 A.M. with a Mass of Christian Burial to be celebrated at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church at 9 A.M. Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 5-9 P.M.
