Manuel “Snooks” Fernandes, age 93 of Fall River. Widower of Elsie (Ferreira) Fernandes and son of the late Manuel Fernandes, Sr. and Theresa (Borges) Fernandes. Passed away Nov. 7, 2008 in Fall River. He was a Fall River resident for most of his life. He was a member of St. Joseph Church, s a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII, and he was a retired jewelry maker at Balfore Jewelers in Attleboro; previously he worked at the Sagamore Mills.
He is survived by several nieces & nephews. He was brother of the late Joseph Carvalho Fernandes.
His funeral arrangements are private.
