FIELDS, DAVID, 64, of Louisville, passed away Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at Sts. Mary & Elizabeth Hospital.
He was a member of Gospel Kingdom Church where he also served as an elder. David Fields retired from the food service industry. He used all of his talents managing and preparing meals to serve the saints of churches from all around the world.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clara and Willard Fields; and a sister, Betty Sauer.
He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Brenda Sue Webb Fields; and his children, Kevin Fields (Angela), and Angie Setzer (Bill); sisters, Rachel Cissell (Bernard), and Nancy Welch; and grandchildren, Hunter and Holly Fields, and Brianna Setzer.
His service will be noon Saturday at his church, 4742 Cane Run Road. Burial is in Gospel of the Kingdom Campground Cemetery.
Visitation is 3-8 p.m. Friday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Hwy., and 10 a.m. Saturday at the church.
