WEBSTER - Paul D. “Sonny” “The Fat Man” Trocki, 78, of 45 Granite St., died Wednesday, Nov. 5, in Hubbard Regional Hospital.
He leaves a nephew, Edmund Hryzan and his wife Sandra of North Grosvenordale, CT; great nephews and great nieces; and his longtime companion, Olga Carcieri of Providence, RI; He was preceded in death by his sister Mary Hryzan and by his brother Stanley Trocki.
He was born in Webster, son of Dominic J. and Rose (Lechert) Trocki and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Trocki worked at local mills and was a roofer. He was a laborer at Guilford Mills in Douglas before he retired.
He loved music and was the stand-up bass player in several polka bands. He was a New England sports fan and liked fishing. He was a life member of the Webster Lodge of Elks #1466.
The funeral will be held Monday, November 10, from the Sitkowski & Malboeuf Funeral Home, 340 School St., with a Mass at 10:00 AM in St. Joseph Basilica, 53 Whitcomb St. Burial will be in St. Joseph Garden of Peace. A calling period will be from 8:30 to 9:30 Monday, Nov. 10, in the funeral home. Donations in his memory may be made to Saint Joseph Elementary School, 53 Whitcomb St., Webster, MA 01570.
