Obituary

Dorothy "Dot" Mary Angel Allaire, 83, of Manchester died November 6, 2008 in the loving arms of her children after a brief illness.
She was born on February 23, 1925 and was the daughter of Percy and Aurore (Gaudette) Laliberte.
She lived in Manchester all of her life, until several years ago when she began to winter in Holiday , Florida with her son, Norman Allaire.
Dorothy was employed at Edison Electronics, Gelinas Cleaners, and ultimately retired from Raytheon. In her retirement years she volunteered for Crotched Mountain and the Manchester School system.
She had been a communicant of Our Lady of Perpetual Help parish, of Manchester.
Dot's greatest accomplishment in her life was her family. The summer home in Barnstead NH is where her family laughed, cried and loved. This time spent at camp is cherished by all who lived it. This is where her family came together.
IN HER LIFE:Family includes her children, Stephen Allaire of Southington CT, Norman Allaire of Holiday FL, Diane Heald of Candia NH; grandchildren, Jeffrey Allaire of Hooksett NH, Jennifer Allaire of Manchester NH, Stephanie Rockwell of Nashua NH, Jayson Hanagan of St. Louis MO, Brian Allaire of Litchfield NH, and Kathryn Hanagan of St. Louis MO; and four beautiful great grandchildren, Olivia and Sophia Rockwen of Nashua NH, and Izabell and Logan Allaire of Litchfield NH; siblings, Beatrice Laliberte and Lorraine Larochelle of Manchester NH, Ricky Laliberte of Pompano Beach FL and Dolores "Gig" Todd of OH; and numerous other nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband of 57 years, George E. Allaire.
She was also predeceased by her son, George R. Allaire, and her siblings, Aurore Jackam, Yvonne Mercier, Norman Laliberte, George Laliberte, and Gerald Laliberte


A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Monday, November 10, 2008 at St. Anthony Church, Belmont St. Manchester.
Committal was at a later date at Mt. Calvary Mausoleum.
