Daniel J. O’Connor, 86, of Salem, NH, died Wed. Nov. 5th at Mount Carmel, Manchester, NH.
Daniel was born in Roxbury, MA, grew up in Cambridge, MA, where he attended Cambridge Ridge & Latin. He was a resident of Salem for over 50 years.
Daniel was a retired driver for the Boston Herald News Paper. He was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Church in Salem, and was a US Army veteran, serving during World War II. He enjoyed gardening, wood working, and coin collecting. Daniel was an avid sports enthusiast and coached Little League in his early years in Salem. He will be remembered as a most devoted husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather.
He was predeceased by his wife Mary B. (Carnes) O’Connor.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Mon. Nov. 10th at 10 AM at St. Joseph Church, Salem, NH. Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Salem, NH.
Calling hours will be held Sun. Nov. 9th from 2-4 PM at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main St., Salem, NH.
