Benedetto A. Ventresco, died on Saturday, April 19 at the Epoch of Weston Nursing Home after a short illness. The husband of the late Florence (Mingotti) he was eighty-three years old.
Born and raised in Chelsea, a welder by trade retiring in 1984, to spend more time with his family and grandchildren.
He is survived by three sons; Robert of Waltham, James of Peabody and Arthur of Medford, Two daughters; Jeanne Savage of Pennsylvania and Elaine Govignano of Florida. Also eight loving grandchildren and four loving great grandchildren. One sister, Eleanor Bottafuco of Stoneham and Angelo ventresco of California.
His funeral will be held from the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St. Medford, on Thursday, April 24, at 8 a.m., followed by a funeral mass celebrated in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Fellsway West, Medford at 9. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend. Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
