Frank Enos, Jr., 85, of Dartmouth died April 19, 2003 at home unexpectedly.
He was the husband of the late Julietta C. (Chaves) Enos and son of the late Frank F. and Emily (Silveira) Enos.
Mr. Enos was born in New Bedford and lived in New Bedford and Dartmouth for most of his life.
He was a communicant of St. Julie Billiart Church.
Mr. Enos was formerly employed as a firefighter for the City of New Bedford Fire Department until his retirement.
He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.
Survivors include a son, Frank D. Enos of Piqua, Ohio; a daughter Joyce L. Craft of Houston, Ohio; 2 sisters, Dorothy Greene of Westport and Mary Enos of Dartmouth; 17 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several great-great-grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.
He is the father of the late Wayne R. Enos and brother of the late William Enos.
His private Funeral Service was held on Wednesday, April 23, 2003 in the Saunders-Dwyer Home For Funerals followed by burial in St. John's Cemetery.
