Obituary

Thomas L. Johnson, 65, of 53 Huntington Ave., died Friday, April 18, in the home of his sister after an illness.

His wife of 20 years, Judith V. (Galvin) Johnson, died in 1989. He leaves two sons, Scott P. Johnson and Christopher T. Johnson, both of Worcester; a sister, Lillian Davenport of Auburn; four grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Five brothers, James, Robert, Charles, George, and John Johnson and three sisters, Anna Johnson, Ivy Catoggio, and Ruth Roulette, predeceased him. He was born in Worcester, son of Winslow and Mae (Davey) Johnson. He graduated from North High School. He was an Air Force veteran.

Mr. Johnson was a shop foreman at Jamesbury Corp. for 30 years retiring in 1996. He was a member of Immaculate Conception Church.

Funeral services will be held Monday, April 21, from Nordgren Memorial Chapel, 300 Lincoln St., with a Mass at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 353 Grove St. Burial will be in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. A calling hour will be held from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Monday, April 21, in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to UMass Memorial Hospice and Patient Care, 650 Lincoln St., Worcester, MA 01608.
