Mrs. Ella Amara, age 95 of Medford died Tuesday in the Woburn Nursing Center in Woburn. She was the wife of the late Joseph J. Amara. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Raphael and the late Daria (Veneri) Nozzollillo. She will be remembered for her wonderful baking and cooking. She also loved playing bingo at the Mystic Valley Towers and participating in functions at the Medford Senior Center. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Sateriale-Scifo of Arlington, 2 granddaughters, Mary-Lynne Maitland of Abington and Gayle Evans of Marstons Mills. Great Grandmother of Tyler Maitland of RI.
Friends may call Thursday from 4 thru 8 at Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford. Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, Friday at 9:00 am.
