Winsor M. Tripp, Sr., 91, of Rehoboth passed away Monday, November 3, 2008 at Somerset Ridge in Somerset. He was the former husband of the late Beatrice I. (Demers) Tripp.
Born in Westport, son of the late Stephen O. and Elnora B. (Kennedy) Tripp, he lived in Westport prior to moving to Rehoboth in 1951. Prior to retirement, he was a dairy farmer for the former Tripp Dairy farm in Rehoboth and also worked part time on the grounds at Swan Point Cemetery in Providence. Mr. Tripp liked working with animals and draft horses.
Survivors include a son: Winsor M. Tripp, Jr. of Foxboro; 2 step-sons: C. Norman Dion of CA and Reginald Dion of CA; 2 step-daughters: Madeline Hoffman of ID and Claire Dick of Canada; 4 grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
Funeral to which relatives and friends are invited will be Thursday, November 6, 2008 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Calling hours Wednesday 5 - 8 P.M.
Interment in Maple Grove Cemetery, Westport.
