Obituary

James Kett, 69, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died unexpectedly at home on Saturday, November 1. He was the husband of the late Paula M. (Reardon) Kett. Born in Stoughton, he was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1957. He was in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1957-1963. Mr. Kett was a plumber and member of the Plumber’s Union in Boston for many years before retiring 5 years ago. He was a member of the VFW Post 8892 in Avon and the Polish White Eagles in Brockton. In his free time he loved fishing and boating.

Mr. Kett is survived by his siblings, George G. Kett of Yarmouthport, Patricia A. Uliano of Canton and Beverly J. Bowie of Attleboro as well as several nieces and nephews. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by his brother William D. Kett.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, November 6 at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery in Stoughton.
