BELMONT

Blanche A. Jackson, 95, formerly of Route 106 died April 18, 2003 at the Belknap County Nursing Home in Laconia. She was born in Franklin NH on April 29, 1907, the daughter of Telesphore and Olivine (Roy) Tremblay and lived in Belmont for most of her life.

A Licensed Practical Nurse, she was employed in private duty and also by Dr. Armand Normandin for a period of time. Mrs. Jackson worked for more than 30 years at Sweaterville prior to her retirement in 1970.

Her husband, Ramsdell Jackson died in 1974.

She is survived by nieces and nephews, among them, Elizabeth Martin of Gulfport, Mississippi, her sister-in-law, Evelyn Trembley and her dearest friends and neighbors, David & Marion Youtsey and family.

A calling hour was held in the Simoneau & Lambert Funeral Home, 139 Church St., Laconia on Tuesday from 8:30 to 9:30 AM. A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated in St. Joseph Parish, Church St., Belmont at 10 AM. Burial was St. Lambert Cemetery, Laconia. Timothy C. Molan and David L. Furber were the funeral directors.
