Obituary

Madeline McEachern, 89 of Medford died Thursday after a brief illness at home.

Born in Somerville, she was the daughter of the late Manuel and Virginia (Mederios) Rogers. Mrs. McEachern was a member of the Salvation Army for over 50 years, was Secretary of the League of Mercy with the Salvation Army, and was a Receptionist for 10 years with the Salvation Army and retired in 1993.

Beloved wife of the late Allan. Devoted mother of Lorraine McEachern of Medford, Frances Albino and her husband Avelino of Hudson, NH, Robert McEachern of Mulberry, FL and the late Marie Stellberger, John McEachern, and Joanne Marks. Also survived by many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren. Sister of Virginia Rogers of Medford, Theresa Mello and her husband Gilbert of Arlington, and the late Mary Rogers, John Rogers, and Gertrude Wininger.

A funeral service will be held at the Salvation Army, 213 Main St., Malden Tuesday, April 22 at 10 AM. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend and may visit with the family Monday 4 thru 8 at the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford.

Services will conclude with burial at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent in Madeline’s memory to The Salvation Army, 213 Main St. Malden, MA 02148
