TEWKSBURY - Nellie P. (Marchulaitis) Von Kahle, age 80, died Thursday evening at the LaheyClinic Medical Center in Burlington, after a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Bernard B. VonKahle Sr., with whom she had celebrated a 57th wedding anniversary.
She was born in Cambridge, March 15, 1923, a daughter of the late Adam and Anna (Burbal)Marchulaitis. She was raised in Cambridge and Medfield, and had lived throughout easternMassachusetts, her entire life. She had most recently resided in Andover.
She was a member of the Baystate Pacing and Trotting Association, and along with her husbandwas an owner of trotting ponies.
Besides her husband, she is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Bernard and his wifeIrene (Gould) Von Kahle Jr. of No. Reading, Ronald and his wife Deborah (Jayroe) Von Kahle ofStrafford, NH, two daughters and sons-in-law, Joan and her husband Robert Spears of Lexington,and Katherine and her husband Raymond Deslauriers of Tyngsboro, nine grandchildren, two greatgrandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was also sister of the late Walter and Adam Marchulaitis and Eva Mullane.
Her Funeral Mass was held Tuesday, April 22, in St. William’s Church.
Private intermentservices will be held in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, W. Roxbury.
