Carol A. Paolucci, 60, passed away at the Wilmington Health Care Center on October 29th, 2008. She was born in Malden on January 29th, 1948 to her parents Erasmo and Marie (DellArciprete) Paolucci. Carol has been a life long resident of Medford. She is a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1966. Upon graduation, Carol became a clerk at the Commercial Union Insurance Company, now known as One Beacon Insurance. She has remained with the company all these years. Carol is an avid fan of Star Trek. She spent time visiting Star Trek events, often appearing as one of the cast members. She also enjoyed travel, especially her trips to Alaska. Carol is a parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Medford, serving as a member of the church choir. She is survived by her mother, Marie (DellArciprete) Paolucci; her siblings Robert Paolucci and his wife Joanne of Wilmington, Louis Paolucci and his wife Frances of Medford and James Paolucci and his wife Ann of Scituate. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and many grandnieces and grandnephews. Carol was predeceased by her father Erasmo Paolucci. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral from the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden at Medford line on Tuesday November 4th at 9 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Medford at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home on Monday November 3rd from 4-8 PM.
