EL CAJON, CA___Barbara (Ewick) Trocki, 90, passed away on Oct. 21, 2008 in El Cajon.
She was the wife of the late Anthony Trocki, mother of Anthony Trocki of San Diego; Robert Trocki of El Cajon; grandmother of Kristopher Trocki, Tina Griesinger, Todd Trocki, Andrew Trocki and great-grandmother of Matthew Griesinger, Michael Griesinger & Tyler Griesinger. In addition, she leaves many nieces and nephews who loved her as much as her children. Barbara was born and raised in Worcester, MA. She moved to El Cajon in 2001 to enjoy her children in her later years. She enjoyed California very much and made many new friends there. She missed the snow but not the shoveling. She was very active in the retirement community where she lived. She played bingo whenever she could and became everyone’s best friend. While Barbara will be missed by all, her warm spirit and wonderful memories that she created with her loved ones will never be forgotten.
The funeral will be held on Friday, October 31, from HENRY-DIRSA FUNERAL HOME, 33 Ward Street, Worcester, with a Mass at 11:30 a.m. in Our Lady of Czestochowa Church, 34 Ward Street, Worcester. Burial will be in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Friday, October 31, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that contributions in Barbara's memory be made to the DAV Memorial Program, P.O.
