Michael W. Frechette, 60, of Londonderry, NH, died Monday, October 27, 2008 in the Parkland Medical Center in Derry, NH. Mr. Frechette was born in Lawrence, MA on January 28, 1948, a son of Isabel (Oertel) Frechette and the late Lucien Frechette. He was a resident of Londonderry since 1984, formerly living in Hudson, NH. Mr. Frechette received his Phd from the University of Rhode Island. He had been employed for a number of years as a professor at the University of Mass at Lowell, retiring in May 2008.
He is survived by his mother, Isabel Frechette of Salem, NH; as well as several aunts and cousins.
There are no calling hours. Following cremation, a memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. The Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch St., Derry is handling the arrangements.
