Robert T. Keane, of Braintree formerly of Newton died on Sun Oct 26, 2008 at his home. He was 72.
Born in Boston he graduated from Brighton High School and served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He worked for First National and later was the owner of a bakery distribution for Arnold Food Co. for over 25 years.
He was the beloved husband of Carol (Fullum) Keane, loving father of Robert T. Keane Jr. of Braintree, and brother of Paula Kelley of Newton. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
His funeral will be from the Eaton & Mackay Funeral Home 465 Centre St. Newton Corner on Wed Oct 29 at 11 AM followed by a Mass of Burial in Our Lady Help of Christians Church at Noon. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Interment with Military Honors will follow at St. Joseph’s Cemetery West Roxbury. Visiting hours will be in the funeral home on Tues 4-7 PM.
