Frances T. Kenney, 90, passed away at the Woodbriar Nursing Home in Wilmington on October 24th, 2008. She was born in Malden on February 20th, 1918 to her parents Salvatore and Nicolina (Sipriano) Mazza. Frances has spent the past few years living in Billerica with her daughter Barbara and her family. Previously she had spent most of her life living in Malden. Frances was a homemaker who also worked at the former Lewis Candy Company in Malden for over 20 years and retired from the Gillette Company in Andover after more than 15 years of service. She was a faithful parishioner at the former St. Peters Parish in Malden, serving as a member of the Ladies Sodality for many years. Frances is survived by her daughter, Barbara Pellicio and her husband John of Billerica; and by her grandchildren Jeffery Pellicio of Arizona and Jannell Cook of Rhode Island. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas F. Kenney; her grandson, John Thomas Pellicio; and by her siblings, Ralph, Joseph and Isabel Mazza, Christine Coviello, Mary Tsusses and Angela Palumbo. Frances was also survived by several nieces and nephews. Relatives & friends are invited to attend her funeral service at the Breslin Funeral Home, 610 Pleasant St., Malden on Tuesday October 28th at 12 PM followed by interment in Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett. Visiting hours will be held at the funeral home prior to the service on Tuesday from 10AM to 12 PM only.
