Doris M. (Dionne) Jusseaume, 89, of Fall River passed away Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Southpointe Rehabilitation & Skilled Care Center. Married on May 1, 1943, she was the wife of 65 years to Andre E. Jusseaume.
Born in Fall River, daughter of the late Alcide and Delia (Charrette) Dionne, she was a lifelong resident of Fall River. Prior to retirement in 1981, she was a stitcher at the former Harlee Manufacturing and Bedford Frocks Manufacturing and was a member of the International Ladies Garment Workers Union. She was a Communicant of Notre Dame Church, Fall River. Mrs. Jusseaume enjoyed doing her own sewing and traveling, but most of all she loved to spend time with her family.
Including her husband, survivors include 2 sons: Michel A. Jusseaume and his wife Paulette M. of Westport and Raymond E. Jusseaume and his wife Karen of Fall River; 2 brothers: Maurice Dionne of Fall River and Marcel Dionne of Somerset; 6 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was sister of the late Henry Dionne, Alcide Dionne, Vernon Dionne, Irma Vanasse, Irene Cote and Lauretta Lake.
Memorial Mass to which relatives and friends are invited will be Saturday, November 15, 2008 at Notre Dame Church, Fall River at 10:00 A.M.
Burial in Notre Dame Cemetery, Fall River.
