Josephine D. (Malvarez) Napoli of Stoneham passed away on Sunday October 19, 2008, at Melrose Wakefield Hospital in Melrose.
Born in Boston, Massachusetts, Josephine was the daughter of the late Josephine (Pais) and Joseph Malvarez. Josephine was a loving wife, mother, sister, and friend and will be missed by all.
Josephine volunteered at St. Patrick Church in Stoneham as a day care provider. She was also a member of the Stoneham Senior Center where she volunteered.
Josephine was the beloved wife of Gaetano Napoli. She was the devoted mother of Marie Napoli of Stoneham and Jo Ann Napoli of Wakefield. Josephine was the dear sister of Helen Malvarez of Medford and the late Blanche Baker.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home, 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Saturday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Josephine’s life in St. Patrick Church, 71 Central St. Stoneham at 10am. Family and friends are cordially invited to gather and share remembrances with the family on Friday from 4-8 p.m. Parking attendants will be available. Interment Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
