ANDOVER – Geraldine M. (Bergeron) Fountain – Patti age 87 died Saturday October 18, 2008 at Mary Immaculate Health Care in Lawrence, MA.
Born and educated in Lawrence, she was the daughter of Joseph N. and Josephine (O’Reilly) Bergeron. She grauated from Lawrence High School with the Class of 1939 and also McIntosh Business School. For many years she was employed with Honeywell in Lawrence, Western Electric in North Andover and also Sanders in Nashua, NH.
She was an active parishioner at St. Augustine’s Church in Andover, a member of the Ladies Auxiliary, and according to her children she was very dedicated to the care to the illness of her husband.
The widow of John Patti, she leaves her children, Cheryl A. McGuire of Andover, MA and Dennis P. Fountain and his wife Shevawn of Methuen.
Grandchildren Erin Michelinie and her husband Daniel of Haverhill and Megan McGuire of Boston, MA, Vannessa, Reggie, Sonny, Dax, Rory and also Craig.
Geraldine was predeceased by her son Frank Fountain
ARRANGEMENTS: Memorials can be made to the Alzheimers Association 311 Arsenal St. Watertown, MA 02472. Family and friends may call on Tuesday from 4:00p.m. – 8:00p.m. at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, Inc., 233 Lawrence St. Methuen, MA 01844. Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday at 10:00a.m. at St. Augustine’s Church in Andover with burial to follow in the Spring Grove Cemetery.
