Vincent J. Fischer Jr., 50 of Franklin died October 15 in the University of Massachusetts Medical Center in Worcester. He was the husband of Cheryl A. (Bolduc) Fischer.
Born in Boston, November 8, 1957, the son of Sandra (Passanisi) Fischer of Roslindale and the late Vincent J. Fischer, Mr. Fischer was raised in Roslindale and had lived in Franklin for the past 16 years.
He was a graduate of Roslindale High School and attended Northeastern University.
Mr. Fischer had been an accounts manager for W.A. Wilde Company of Holliston for the past 5 years.
He had previously worked for Q Media Services for several years and for Deluxe Check Printing Company for 19 years.
Mr. Fischer’s time, when not working, was spent with his family; he was all about his family and friends.
In addition his wife and mother, he is survived by his children, Monica, Allison and Andrew Fischer, all of Franklin.
He is also survived by his sister, Florence Fischer of Roslindale and his brothers, William Fischer and his wife, Christine of Marshfield and Robert Fischer and his wife, Karen of Dedham. He is also survived by his brother-in-law and sister–in-law, Robert and Denise Cloutier of Franklin and his nephews, Christopher Cloutier, Ryan and Daniel Fischer and nieces, Kristen and Lauren Fischer. He was the uncle of the late Robert Fischer.
His funeral will be held on Saturday, October 18 from the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin, 131 Main St. in Franklin at 8:15 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Church at 9:00 a.m.
Interment will be in the parish cemetery.
Calling hours will be on Friday from 4-8 p.m.
