Marion J. (Tiney) Edwards died at the South Shore Hospital at the age of 102 on October 14, 2008. Mrs. Edwards was the wife of the late Walcott J. Edwards. She is survived by her Son Richard C. Edwards and his wife Susan of Rockport, Texas, her grandchildren; Robbie Edwards of AZ, Andrew Edwards of NC, Ricky Edwards of VA, Sandra Kingsbury and her husband Guy of Norton, Karen Casano of Taunton and Doug Barrow. Marion is also survived by 10 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren and many friends. She is predeceased by her daughter Nancy J. Barrow, her brother Ralph Tiney and her nephew Donald Tiney. Mrs. Edwards was born in Cambridge, was a Weymouth resident for 70 years and lived on her own until a month ago. She was a bookkeeper at the Patriot Ledger where she met her husband and worked for the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home for many years. Marion went to Bob’s Muffin Shop in Weymouth for breakfast for 40 years. She was a long time member of the Old South Union Church and was active for many years in the Wessagusset Order of Eastern Star. Relatives and friends are invited to the funeral at the Old South Union Church, 25 Columbian St. S. Weymouth on Saturday October 18 at 11 A.M. and the visiting hours at the C. C. Shepherd Funeral Home, 134 Pleasant St. (Columbian Sq.) S. Weymouth on Friday from 3 to 7 P.M. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery in South Weymouth.
