Antonetta (Silvestri) Nardone, beloved wife of the late G. Flower Nardone, died at the Brighten Nursing Center in Medford on Sunday, October 12, 2008. She was 93 years old.
Antonetta was born in Boston, Massachusetts, on August 12, 1915, the daughter of the late Anthony and Rosina (Todisco) Silvestri. She was an avid sewer and always enjoyed cooking for her family. In her spare time, she enjoyed casino cruise’. Above all, she was a real family person, especially enjoying time with her grandchildren.
She will be very sorely missed by one daughter and one son-in-law; Florence and Robert Scapicchio of Medford, four grandchildren; Peter and his wife Lisa Scapicchio of Winchester, Gregory Scapicchio of Medford and Michelle and Rosina Nardone of Florida, two grea-grandchildren; Sophia and Robert Scapicchio of Winchester. She was also the mother of the late Anthony Nardone and sister of the late Louise Mondano.
Her funeral was from the Beals-Geake-Magliozzi Funeral Home 29 Governors Avenue, Medford, Wednesday, October 15, 2008, at 10:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Joseph Church 118 High Street, Medford at 11:30 AM.
