Johnson, Paul L., 86, of Louisville, passed away Sunday, October 12,
2008 at Kindred Hospital.
He retired after 30 years with Ford Motor LAP and a native of Charlestown, Indiana. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a NASCAR fan and enjoyed his travels by R.V. and going to Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents Minnie and Leslie Johnson and son, Dennis A. Johnson.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Sue (Same) Johnson; son, Steven Johnson (Mary) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; grandchildren, Stephanie Sipes (Brian), Amanda Johnson (Neal Radaker), and Austin Dickey; great-grandchildren, Mason and Madison Sipes; two sisters, Margaret Cayer of Houston Texas and Doris Jean Howard (Marion) of Jeffersonville, Indiana; sister-in-law Charlene Pennington; nephew Gary Wingfield.
His service will be 11 a. m. Wednesday at Owen Funeral Home, 5317 Dixie Highway with entombment at Louisville Memorial Gardens, West.
Visitation will be 5-9 p.m. Tuesday.
