Jesup-Linda Diane Abell-Cobia, age 45, passed away Thursday, October 9, 2008 at Emory Medical Center in Atlanta after an extended illness. She was born on March 1, 1963 in Lebanon, Kentucky. She graduated from high school in Ft. Worth, Texas. Diane was employed by Xerox in Savannah, Georgia and was a member of the Odum Baptist Church.
Diane was a very special and loving person. She was greatly loved by many special friends and family members. Her high spirits and bright smile will be dearly missed.

Diane is survived by her husband, Bruce Cobia of Jesup; mother and father, Herb and Betty Jo Stein of Louisville, Kentucky; sister and brother-in-law, Rick and Debbie Graham of Campbellsville, Kentucky; brother and sister-in-law, Robbie and Connie Jo Abell of Elizabethtown, Kentucky; step-children, Drake, Natlie, and Madeline Cobia of Columbia, South Carolina; special aunts, Marie Wilkerson and Essie Padgett of Kentucky; aunts, uncles and other family members also survive. She is also survived by her loving pets.
Funeral services will be held Monday, October 13, 2008 at 11:00 a. m. from the Odum Baptist Church with Reverend Gabe Gill officiating. Visitation will be held Sunday evening from 6:00 p. m.-8:00 p. m. at the funeral home.
